Abby: Day 1

Today was the first day of our long trip. For the first day it was very relaxed with minimal sights to see in the morning. We drove for SIX hours until we got to Texas Tech University, the Buddy Holly Center, and Mackenzie Prarie Dog Town. We got a lot of geocaches and took many pictures after exploring around. The prarie dogs were so cute!!!! Then we headed on a 2 hour drive to dinner in Canyon,TX at Fat Boys BBQ. I would highly recommend going there! Yumm!!!!!!! Then we headed to Palo Duro Canyon for a breathtaking view, Junior Naturalist activity, and an upclose view of an oncoming storm. The lightning was phenomenal and eyeopening! Once we got to our hotel and into our room the skies opened up. Flash flood warnings for tonight and tomorrow! Fun! >: / Yaaaaaawwwwn! : 0 Write more tomorrow!
