Kim - Our Camino Steps Begin, Sept 28

Today we spent the morning exploring the Cathedral in Porto, then attended Mass and the Peregrinos' blessing.

Adios Porto - Valenca and Camino de Santiago here we come - our adventure starts this afternoon.

And so it begins - the first steps of Our Camino, Our Walk, Our Adventure, Our Pilgrimage the first of 11 days to Santiago de Compostella - Buen Camino!

This afternoon we started walking our Camino in Valença, Portugal at the fortress and walked over the Minho River into Tui, Spain (approx 2 miles), where we will stay the night and rest for our 10 mile day tomorrow. 🥾

An evening spent at our hotel - this was the first time I have ever walked to a hotel to check in.
