Kim - Up, Down and All Around in Santiago Oct 10

Today is our last day in Santiago, our last day in Spain - we head to Porto, Portugal in the evening and fly home tomorrow morning.

We started our morning with a walking historical tour of Old Town Santiago - we learned a lot about Baroque, Romanesque and Neoclassic architecture, learned who each statue was on the outside of the Cathedral, saw the old Benedictine Monastery Convent and Cervantes Square and enjoyed crisp morning walking.

Our last day in Santiago called for a lovely lunch in a lovely place! We can't afford to stay here, but we can eat here.

Stacy and I took our touring to new heights on our last afternoon in Santiago with a rooftop tour of the Cathedral - simply amazing!

One last afternoon on Santiago - shopping, geocaching and a treat while Dad relaxed at the hotel

Adios Santiago! It's been a wonderful few days - but now it's time to head back to Portugal for our flight home tomorrow. Porto here we come!

We arrived in Porto and we're settled in for our one last evening eating like the Europeans. Tomorrow - home.
