Stacy: Day 4 - Back to Porto

Camino de Santiago Sep 25, 2023

We began our day back at the Fatima Sanctuary to finally see the insides of the churches!

We ate at our hotel's restaurant, again--it's a fantastic place! They do gluten free really well!

Then, back on the 2 hour bus to Porto! This trip is definitely getting me ready for my trip to Japan, and their public transportation.

On the bus, we passed a very short truck carrying cork! Cork is a national product of Portugal. I couldn't get my phone out fast enough, so it's blurry. But, it was so cool too see!

Then, we relaxed on the top of our Porto hotel's roof, and watched the sun set. OH! Game changer, here! 7-Up with 2 thick halves of a lemon, inside the glass, is 1000% better tasting! And, I prefer 7-Up to Sprite! They already gave me an absolutely wonderful gluten free pound cake muffin (free because they offer free snacks to guests from 2-4pm). It was a lovely evening. And, cold. It got very chilly as the sun went down.

Tomorrow, we have a really neat, 9 hour tour of Porto, and the day after that (Thursday) we begin our Camino!

But, first, laundry on the Camino! ((I was just getting started, and Kim joined in later.))
